5 mini skeins of yarn for LRC (left right center dice game)
Water, coffee and tea, along with a few snacks will be provided, but feel free to bring snacks to share during the afternoon. There are 2 refrigerators in our meeting room.
Dress in layers to adjust to temperatures.
If you plan on hiking, you may want to bring a waterproof jacket, hiking boots, trekking poles, etc.
The Front Range Knitting Guild retreat is October 17-20, 2024 at the Estes Park YMCA of the Rockies. We will be staying at the Wind River Lodge.
Check in is at 6 pm on the first day. Please do not ask for an earlier arrival. If rooms are ready earlier, they will notify Brenda Gibbs. You may arrive at the large meeting room at the Wind River Lodge to check in any time after 3pm, and begin knitting and socializing.
We have a large conference room reserved for our entire stay. We will be able to use it starting Thursday at 3pm, ending at noon on Sunday. Brenda Gibbs will have the key to lock/unlock the door.
Meals are served in the centrally located Aspen Dining Room. All meals are cafeteria style. Breakfast and dinner will be included in the final price.
Rooms are equipped with (2) queen beds, full bath, coffee pot, microwave and mini fridge. There are no TV’s in the room. No pets are allowed.
If you know of someone not signed up, but would like to come for the day, they may attend for a $25 drop in fee. This does not include any meals or access to other YMCA free activities.
