March Meeting

Here are the minutes for March 1, 2025 meeting Karen Kinyon from Double Diamond Ranch came to talk to us about alpacas and lamas, which she raises. explaining the difference in fleece. very informative.. We were so excited about her ranch and the classes she has I foresee a trip to Wellington coming up this summer!! Please mark your calendars for October 23-26 for our retreat to Allenspark Lodge BnB. more info to follow. Next month we will meet at the Fleece Factory in LaSalle. It would be fun to carpool so contact friends to go with. Shawn lives in Johnstown and can take 7 more people. Our May meeting is at the McKee building. we will learn about Knitted Knockers. June is at the McKee building. It is also Wool Market in Estes. April 4 is National Guild Conference. check out their website for classes and prices. We learned that Avenir Museum in Fort Collins has a knitting group that will help you with problems for free!
